Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / PCU

Omaha, NE

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
• Manage and titrate drips including chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix
• Monitor patients using hemodynamic equipment including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000
• Perform hourly rounding and maintain patient experience standards
• Float to same-level-of-care Med/Surg and PCU units as needed
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements on a self-schedule basis

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
• Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is required

• Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
• Prior experience with ventilator management and ICP monitoring
• EPIC experience within the past 6 months
• Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience (required for charge nurse role)

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary support team including PT/OT, case management, social work, and dieticians in a collaborative unit environment
• First-time travelers are welcome, with orientation provided to support your transition to the unit
