Registered Nurse – Oncology PCU / Med-Surg

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med-Surg unit serving an adult patient population
Manage and titrate drips including insulin, cardizem, heparin, protonix, and chemotherapy agents
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 as needed
Perform hourly rounding and maintain a patient-centered care approach across a culturally diverse population
Float to same-level-of-care units including Med-Surg and PCU as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, RN case managers, social work, dieticians, and educators
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU settings
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification required
Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Must successfully pass a facility orientation exam with a score of 90% or higher
Preferred Experience / Skills
Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
Prior experience with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience (required if applying for charge nurse role)
Recent EPIC experience within the past 6 months
