Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within an 18-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit
- Administer chemotherapy and oncology-related treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1, ensuring high-quality, individualized patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support BMT patient outcomes
- Float to a Medical-Surgical floor on an as-needed basis when unit census is low
- Work weekends as needed based on departmental requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification
- Prior Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience (not required)
