Travel RN – Surgical Oncology (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: August 24, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 to 1:6
• Perform medication administration, chest tube management, NGT management, and Foley management
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps, SCD machines, Mobilab, and glucometers
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to Medical Oncology and Med/Surg units as needed
• Work every other weekend or approximately 4 weekend shifts per month and adhere to the facility attendance policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in IV insertion
• Experience with chemotherapy administration
• Prior Surgical Oncology or Oncology nursing background
