Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy, utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Administer various chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, including but not limited to HD Methotrexate, induction and consolidation for Leukemias, Rituximab, R-EPOCH, and R-CHOP.
Deliver individualized, patient-centered care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families across an entire episode of care.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level, and fulfill scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, and additional shift pickups as required.
Required Qualifications
Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start date.
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an oncology setting.
At least 6 months of recent chemotherapy/oncology experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification required upon submission (effective February 20, 2026).
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with remote telemetry monitoring in an oncology or medical-surgical setting.
Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced inpatient environment, including direct admits for chemotherapy and disease-related complications.
