    Registered Nurse (RN) – Cancer Nursing Unit (Oncology) – Nights

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy, utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Administer various chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, including but not limited to HD Methotrexate, induction and consolidation for Leukemias, Rituximab, R-EPOCH, and R-CHOP.
    • Deliver individualized, patient-centered care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families across an entire episode of care.
    • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level, and fulfill scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, and additional shift pickups as required.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start date.
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an oncology setting.
    • At least 6 months of recent chemotherapy/oncology experience.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification required upon submission (effective February 20, 2026).
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with remote telemetry monitoring in an oncology or medical-surgical setting.
    • Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced inpatient environment, including direct admits for chemotherapy and disease-related complications.
