Travel RN – Oncology (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Every Third Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Oncology Care Unit with a 1:4–1:5 patient ratio
• Access and manage portacaths and other central venous access devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with PCTs and unit secretaries available on most shifts to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to unit guidelines including scheduling requirements and PTO policies

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid Compact (multi-state) license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Ability to access portacaths or willingness to learn

• Prior experience in an oncology or medical-surgical oncology unit
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience with central venous access devices including portacaths

• Work on a newly renovated unit featuring updated call bell systems, vital sign machines, scales, and IV pumps
