Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekends, no holidays, no on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a typical infusion assignment of up to 8 patients within a community-based oncology practice, supporting a maximum daily infusion capacity of 24 patients
• Administer hematology, oncology, monoclonal antibody, and non-oncology referral infusions
• Provide chemotherapy teaching at the chairside for patients and families
• Perform IV insertion, vascular access management, and port access procedures
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary oncology care team including MDs, APPs, LPNs, and Ambulatory Techs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and operate Alaris infusion pumps

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New York State RN licensure
• 2–3 years of recent infusion experience required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient clinic experience highly desired
• Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and oncology care teams
