Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct inpatient nursing care to oncology patients in an acute care setting
- Administer chemotherapy and related treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Support bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients throughout their care continuum
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
- Float to other units or facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and clinical qualifications
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience; BMT experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
