Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights, 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to Medical Surgical Oncology patients, including those with Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, and Hematology/Oncology diagnoses
  • Support and participate in research and clinical trial activities, including CAR-T therapy and stem cell transplant protocols
  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in accordance with established safety and clinical standards
  • Float to like units (e.g., Med/Surg) as needed to meet staffing requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in BMT and general oncology care settings
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Chemotherapy certification required (ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration course accepted); candidates actively working toward certification may be considered
  • ONS/ONCC certification required; OCN preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with chest tube setup/care, CPAP/BiPap, procedure sedation, and cooling/warming blankets
  • Proficiency with Port-A-Cath/vascular device access, syringe pumps, wound VAC, and drain/feeding tube management
  • Familiarity with Heparin, Insulin, and Lasix administration
