Registered Nurse - Acute Orthopedics
Job Summary
This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Acute Orthopedics Unit in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and managing various musculoskeletal conditions.
This role demands a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced acute care environment, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience in an Orthopedics Unit.
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Shift Details
Shift Type: Day shift.
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts.
Days per Week: 3 days per week.

Weekend Rotations: As per unit needs, included in the varied schedule.
Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) during the assignment.
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
