Key Responsibilities of the RN - Ortho

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, such as total joints and spine surgery
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Utilize immobilizers, braces, and cold treatments as needed for patient care and recovery
• Manage patient ratios effectively, typically 5:1 RN

Requirements of the RN - Ortho

• Minimum 1-year current Ortho RN or M/S experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification
• Ortho/Spine experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
