Description:
This position requires travel for an RN in the Operating Room department.
The shift schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
There is a call requirement of one day a week and one weekend a month.
The unit has 7 operating room suites and a staff of approximately 45.
Staffing consists of RNs, surgical techs, and ancillary support.
On the day shift, there is 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, and 6-7 surgical techs.
On the night shift, there is 1 RN and 1 surgical tech.
Estimated patient ratios are 1:1.
Typical procedures performed include orthopedic, neuro, robotic, general, trauma, and urology surgeries.
The best candidates will be team players with a positive attitude.
Candidates with trauma center experience and orthopedic experience will be given preference.
