Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,927 per week in Houston, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Surgery/Plastics (Telemetry) Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience in a busy hospital, familiarity with EPIC charting system, ability to interpret EKG strips Description: RNs need to be open to floating. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling; self-scheduling is not an option. Weekend work is required. Holiday rotation will occur with permanent staff. Shifts are from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am, with a requirement to arrive 15 minutes early for shift change. Charge experience is preferred but not required. Scrub color is navy. The position focuses on urological, ENT, orthopedic, and gynecological oncology procedures. Responsibilities include caring for urology patients and those undergoing procedures like prostatectomies, hysterectomies, fibroidectomies, and cystoscopies. Staff will also care for post-international radiology patients. Basic EKG interpretation is required as all units have telemetry. Candidates must have previous travel experience and have worked in a high-demand hospital setting. Floating between different units may occur as needed.
