Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,975 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years strongly preferred License: State or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: Experience in both scrub and circulate surgical procedures is strongly preferred. Open to accommodating block scheduling upon manager's approval. Travelers may need to float between like units or sister facilities based on facility needs. Description: This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role involves working in a busy and dynamic operating room environment. The operating room consists of 21 suites covering various surgical specialties such as trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing team comprises 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. Registered Nurses in this department are trained both to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. This is a Magnet designated department providing cutting-edge technology. Candidates should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November yearly. All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission and will be evaluated based on facility needs. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Each shift can be broken down to add up to one shift. This position is open to both travelers and local candidates on a case-by-case basis.
