Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,990 per week in Salt Lake City, UT

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: ALS, BLS Must-Have: Worked in Same Day Surgery department. Worked in Surgery department and is familiar with starting IVs and other tasks related to preparing patients for surgery. Worked in Post-Surgery care department by providing discharge instructions related to the surgical process. Description: Responsible for providing care in an outpatient surgery setting. Familiar with obtaining vital signs, shaving, obtaining consent, and conducting brief health histories. Prepares patients for surgery and ensures they understand the process. Provides post-surgery care and instructions to patients being discharged. Handles all surgical types within the assigned unit. Works with standard hospital equipment and electronic medical records system. Patient ratio is up to 4 to 1. No on-call or weekend requirements. Dress code consists of provided scrubs.
