Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,995 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must have Meditech experience - Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics - Willingness to float among different specialties in the operating room Description: The operating room unit consists of 20 rooms with a total of 110 staff members, including directors, charge RNs, OR coordinators, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CRNAs. Patient ratios in the operating room are 1:1. You will be required to prepare the operating room, arrange equipment, and assist doctors during surgeries. Maintaining a 30-minute turnaround time between cases is essential. Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, decontaminating, and repairing surgical equipment while keeping inventory records. Pre and post-surgical tasks involve shaving, transporting, and applying dressings. Typical procedures performed in the unit include robotics/Da Vinci surgeries, spinal procedures, Mako surgeries, neuro cases, burn management, cystoscopy, gastrointestinal procedures, endoscopic surgeries, laparoscopic equipment usage, ENT procedures, and trauma interventions. This is a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and the ability to function independently.
