Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,996 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: OR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute hospital setting License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Strong orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgery experience - Willingness to float to the general operating room Description: The facility consists of 16 operating rooms and approximately 53 staff members. Staff includes directors, charge RNs, OR nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNAs, and LPNs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on the procedure. Equipment used includes sterile accessories, circulators, sponges, gowns, gloves, tubing, and cords. Documentation is performed using a specified medical software system. Call requirements may vary based on operational needs. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room and arranging necessary equipment. Assist surgeons during various surgical procedures. Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment, maintaining inventory records. Perform pre and post-surgical tasks including shaving, transporting patients, and applying dressings.
