Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,997 per week in Saint Petersburg, FL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics Ability to take call Description: This position requires the Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room. The unit consists of 7 Operating Room Suites. There are a total of 30 staff members, including Surgical Technologists, RNs, Aides, and leadership. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. The equipment used varies based on specialty. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Robotics in gynecology, urology, and general surgery. Additional procedures include cystoscopy, breast surgery, knee scopes, and total joint replacements. Candidates must demonstrate a team player mentality and flexibility in their approach. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
