Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical instruments
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia and surgery
- Ensure strict adherence to AORN standards, infection control, and hospital policies
- Document all aspects of care accurately and thoroughly
- Support efficiency and patient safety throughout all phases of surgery
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CNOR certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Operating Room nursing experience
