Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,005 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 HR Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the OR License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired Description: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and the surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies, ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. On-call duty is required for 4 x 12-hour shifts in an 8-week schedule period.
