Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of OR experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred Must-Have: Clienttion badge required Description: Position involves working in the Operating Room as an RN. Shift is scheduled for 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days a week. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care during surgical procedures. Ratios are 1:1 for patient care. On-call requirements include one day each week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Travelers may be required to float between facilities as necessary. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. Previous charge experience is preferred. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is beneficial. The unit handles a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages between 8 to 12 patients. Candidates must complete required compliance checks prior to starting. This role may involve assignments to emergency response teams during specific seasons. Participation in additional non-billable training modules will be required.
