Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,051 per week in McKinney, TX

Job Title: Travel RN OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in the Operating Room. Candidates must have Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Labor & Delivery experience is not applicable. Description: This position requires travel for an RN in the Operating Room department. The shift schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There is a call requirement of one day a week and one weekend a month. The unit has 7 operating room suites and a staff of approximately 45. Staffing consists of RNs, surgical techs, and ancillary support. On the day shift, there is 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, and 6-7 surgical techs. On the night shift, there is 1 RN and 1 surgical tech. Estimated patient ratios are 1:1. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic, neuro, robotic, general, trauma, and urology surgeries. The best candidates will be team players with a positive attitude. Candidates with trauma center experience and orthopedic experience will be given preference.
