Description:
Looking for an Operating Room RN for a day shift position.
This role involves a minimum of 1-2 call shifts per week and one weekend of call per month.
Candidates must have orthopedic experience.
Orientation is provided every other week.
The patient ratio is 1 RN to 1 or 2 Surgical Techs.
Weekend scheduling is not required; on-call only.
The ideal candidate must meet the licensure and certification requirements outlined.
Candidates must have a permanent address within a 100-mile radius from the facility.
Minimum two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years are required.
Must comply with the flu vaccination policy unless a medical exemption is documented.
The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a focus on patient-centered care.
It is staffed by clinical and non-clinical professionals dedicated to serving the community.
The work environment emphasizes collaboration with various interdisciplinary support services.
Technical skills in administration of blood products, various surgical procedures, and infection control are essential.
Candidates will need to be familiar with the charting system used in the operating room.
