Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,068 per week in Cypress, TX

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Experience License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: General orthopedic experience is required. Description: Data Collection: Unit Information. General Information about the unit: Number of Beds - 9 OR suites and a dedicated cysto room. Number of Staff - 50. Type of staff includes day shift free charge RNs with all rooms staffed along with 2-3 float teams. Night shift consists of several teams until 5 PM, 2-3 teams until 7 PM, and 1 team from 3 PM to 11 PM. Patient Ratios are 1:1. Type of equipment includes EMR with Meditech. Typical hiring profile includes skill sets most recruited for, specifically required general orthopedic experience. Preferred candidates will also have experience with CV Da Vinci. Typical procedures performed on the unit include orthopedic (both total and sports medicine), spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology. The best personality fit is someone who collaborates well within a team setting. Floating areas are not applicable. Dress code requires scrub color to be royal blue. There are no specific weekend or on-call requirements. Overall, two positions are available.
