Job SummaryJoin a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in a 25-bed, independent, nonprofit critical access hospital located in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care within a dynamic general Medical-Surgical unit, serving both adult and occasional pediatric patients. The hospital is a cornerstone of healthcare in Vermont's scenic Northeast Kingdom, known for its commitment to primary, preventive, surgical, specialty, inpatient, outpatient, and 24/7 emergency services.
As a key member of the nursing staff, you will coordinate exceptional patient care, utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions across various care settings including medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed services. The focus is on holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency.
You will work collaboratively with a talented group of professionals, reporting to the Unit Director and closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift. This position is ideal for an experienced RN seeking a fulfilling role in a supportive rural community environment.
