Key Responsibilities of the OR RN

Prepare operating room and arrange equipment
Assist doctors during surgeries
Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment
Keep inventory records
Pre and post-surgical tasks including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings

Requirements of the OR RN

BLS, ACLS certifications
2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting
Strong ortho, neuro, and robotics experience
Robotics/Da Vinci experience and scrubbing
