Job Title: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years current nursing experience License: RN license Certifications: BLS, dysrhythmia management Must-Have: - Experience in pre and post operative surgical care - Experience in orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery - Ability to manage multiple levels of care in an adult inpatient acute and telemetry unit Description: Position involves providing medical-surgical telemetry nursing care. Nurse must have experience working with patients who have undergone surgery. The role includes both pre and post bedside care. Candidate should have a solid background in orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery. The nurse will work in a unit delivering care for multiple levels of adult inpatient acuity. The typical nurse/patient ratio is 1:4-5 during the day shift and 1:5-6 during the night shift. Preferred experience includes familiarity with EPIC and prior travel assignments.
