The ideal candidate will have circulator experience in a variety of specialty areas. Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, GI, spine, ophthalmology, and podiatry is preferred. Candidates must be able to float to various units as needed. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to ensure high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating patient progress, and coordinating care delivery. The OR Registered Nurse applies nursing knowledge and skills to create individualized care plans. You will advocate for patient health, safety, and rights throughout the care process. The role involves teaching patients and families about self-care and lifestyle changes post hospitalization. Documentation of nursing practice and patient education is required. Engagement in quality improvement activities and professional development is expected.
