Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,177 per week in Reston, VA

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS; Certifications specific to role and aligned with state and federal regulations (e.g., CST, etc.) Must-Have: Level 2 trauma experience Experience across various surgical specialties including orthopedics, neuro, general, GYN, urology, vascular, and thoracic Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The unit accommodates 18 beds. The staff consists of a mix of RNs and Surgical Technicians. Day shift staff includes scrub and circulator for multiple rooms, a Charge RN, Service Line Experts, and OR Support Technicians. Night shift staff is primarily focused on trauma cases with additional on-call teams available. Patient ratios are in accordance with departmental standards. The electronic medical record system used in this unit is Meditech. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures, including spinal fusion, total joint replacements, and DaVinci Robot procedures. Candidates should possess a team-oriented personality. Floating to other areas such as OB may be required. Weekend and on-call shifts are necessary to cover vacancies with approximately four 12-hour shifts scheduled every eight weeks.
