Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,181 per week in Alexandria, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have: CNOR preferred; must be able to scrub and circulate in thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics. Description: Candidates must have experience in a variety of surgical cases. Common types of cases include ortho, neuro, maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colo-rectal, general, GYN, robotics, urology, spine, podiatry, thoracic, and breast surgeries. The facility has 11 surgical suites with an average of 25-35 cases per day. Electronic medical record system in use is EPIC. Scrubs will be provided. Weekend and on-call expectations include average shifts of 2-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, including overnight and weekends. There are no floating expectations for this position. Holiday responsibilities include being on-call during the contract timeframe.
