Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room (OR) team at York Hospital in York, Maine. This 13-week assignment focuses on providing specialized care for orthopedic surgical patients.

The successful candidate will be proficient in both circulating and scrub roles, contributing to a high-quality surgical environment and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive circulating and scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room.
  • Provide direct patient care to orthopedic surgical patients throughout the perioperative phase.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to all surgical protocols and safety standards.
  • Assist with patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative handoff procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, dedicated Operating Room (OR) experience.
  • Demonstrated strong and specific experience in orthopedic surgical cases, proficient in both circulating and scrub roles.
