Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,215 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: OR RN Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 12 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting. Strong ortho, neuro, and robotics experience. Must be willing to float to general operating room. Description: The unit has 16 operating rooms and a total staff of 53. Staff includes a director, charge RNs, open heart specialists, OR RNs, surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNAs, and LPNs. Patient ratios are typically 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. Type of equipment includes sterile accessories, circulators, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, and cords. Documentation is done using Meditech. Call requirements are as needed. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room and arranging equipment. Assist doctors during surgeries. Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment while keeping inventory records. Conduct pre and post-surgical repair tasks including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings. The facility is recognized as a certified comprehensive stroke center and has received the American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award. This position is for 2 vacant roles.
