Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,220 per week in Miami, FL

Experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures, specifically knee and hip replacements. Description: This position involves working in the Operating Room. The unit has 29 beds with a varying number of staff based on volume. Day shift staffing includes a Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Technicians, and a Clinical Coordinator. The night shift has similar staffing patterns. Patient ratios are typically 3:1. Equipment used includes x-rays, preoperative tools, and ECG monitors. Candidates should have proficiency in charting and be dedicated to providing patient care. Critical thinking skills and a passion for the profession are essential. The role requires the ability to scrub and circulate for all service lines. There may be rotating weekend calls and on-call requirements. The facility is recognized with awards and has achieved joint commission accreditation. Candidates with additional certifications such as PALS or CNOR and those who have charge nurse experience will be prioritized.
