Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,226 per week in Canton, MS

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 6:45 to 3:15 (Monday-Friday with 2 weekdays and 1 weekend of call) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (if performing pediatric cases) Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC charting required Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room specialty. The facility has a total of 67 beds. There are 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. The typical number of cases is between 15 to 22 per day. Surgery experience in general, orthopedic fractures and scopes, plastics, gastrointestinal, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology is preferred. The traveler will not be required to scrub and circulate. There is call duty for 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month. The traveler will not be floating to other units. Candidates must hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if involved in pediatric cases). The charting system utilized is Epic. No specific equipment, procedures, or skills beyond those mentioned are required for the unit.
