Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,227 per week in Canton, MS

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday, with 2 weekdays and 1 weekend of call Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Flu vaccine is required with only medical exemptions allowed. - Fingerprint requirement is necessary, with remote processing or in-person options available. Description: The facility has a total of 67 beds. The operating room consists of 4 ORs and 1 procedure room. The average number of cases per day ranges from 15 to 22. Areas of surgery experience required include general, orthopedic fractures and scopes, plastics, gastrointestinal, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology. No specific orthopedic experience is required. The traveler does not need to scrub or circulate. Call is required, totaling 2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month. The traveler will not be floating to other units. Required certifications for this position include BLS, ACLS, and PALS if performing pediatric cases. The facility uses an Omnicel medication system. The charting system utilized is Epic. There are no additional specific equipment, procedures, or skills required. An orientation to the unit is provided, including on-unit training and healthstream virtual education.
