Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,228 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute OR setting License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years current experience in acute OR setting Ortho, spine, and joint replacement experience Knee and hip replacement experience Description: This position involves working in a fast-paced operating room environment. The unit typically handles a variety of surgical procedures, including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The operating room staff includes a charge RN, multiple RNs, techs, and a clinical coordinator. Patient ratios are maintained at 3:1. RNs are responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care. Ideal candidates will possess excellent critical thinking and multitasking skills. A strong dedication to patient care and an excellent bedside manner are essential. The dress code includes navy blue or royal blue scrubs; surgical-type scrubs are not permitted. Candidates must be able to perform both scrubbing and circulating duties across all service lines. Rotating weekend shifts are possible, along with on-call requirements, including weeknight and weekend calls.
