Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,234 per week in Windsor, VT

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Scrub/Circulate Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Cataract experience is required and non-negotiable. Experience in both scrubbing and circulating is required. Experience working in a smaller operating room facility is required. Phase I/PACU experience is required. Multiple surgical experience is required. Experience with Cerner EMR is required. Travel experience is highly preferred. BSN is preferred. Description: The Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team. The nurse will function in both a circulating and scrubbing capacity. Services provided include general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy procedures. Nurses provide specialized care for all these services. The surgical services department has two operating rooms and a procedure room. Most procedures are outpatient, with limited inpatient care. Patients served range from ages 16 and older. Requested time off during this assignment must be noted upfront. Requests after submission will not be approved. No more than five days of time off will be accepted. Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position. A personal vehicle is a firm requirement for this role. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work during specified holiday blocks. Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance. After three call-offs, the traveler's contract may be eligible for termination.
