Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,238 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Current experience in acute OR setting - Experience with orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement procedures - Experience with knee and hip replacements Description: Unit Information: The Operating Room has 29 beds. Staffing varies based on volume, including 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Techs, and a clinical coordinator. Patient ratios are maintained at 3:1. Type of equipment used includes x-rays, preoperative tools, anesthesiology equipment, lab, electrocardiography, and EKG. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech. Typical procedures performed include joint replacement, ENT surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, spine operations, urology, vascular surgery, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, experienced in patient care, reliable, proficient in charting, a critical thinker, passionate, comfortable with multi-tasking, and possess excellent bedside manners. Dress code requirements include navy blue or royal blue scrubs. Surgical type scrubs are not acceptable. Candidates should be able to function as both a scrub and circulator across all service lines. Rotating weekends may be required. On-call requirements include 4 weeks of call, with 2 weeknight calls (7 PM - 7 AM) and 2 weekend 24-hour calls, along with 1 holiday 24-hour call if applicable.
