Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,250 per week in Cypress, TX

# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Cypress, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day and night shifts available; one weekday call shift per week; 1:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 9 operating room suites plus dedicated cystoscopy room with approximately 50 surgical team members
• Diverse case mix including orthopedics (total joint and sports medicine), spine, neuro, vascular, general surgery, bariatrics, robotics, and urology
• Day shift includes free charge RN with all rooms staffed plus 2-3 float teams; night coverage includes multiple teams with staggered schedules
• EMR system: Meditech
• Professional dress code with royal blue scrubs
• Long-term contract starting Fall 2026

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Operating room experience with general surgery and orthopedic procedures required
• Cardiovascular and da Vinci robotic surgery experience preferred
• Strong perioperative skills and ability to adapt to varied surgical specialties
