Schedule: 8-week assignment periods; 2-3 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule (either in-house or on call); 7-8 call shifts per 8-week period including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts; weekday night call shifts requiredHighlights:- High-volume Main OR featuring 16 operating rooms with average daily census of 35 cases across multiple specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal- Advanced technology environment utilizing Epic EMR, Pyxis medication management, and 2 DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems- Both circulating and scrubbing experience required – candidates must demonstrate competency in both roles- Competitive case mix including high volumes of total joint replacements, robotic-assisted procedures across multiple specialties, and complex spine/neuro cases- Travel experience required with minimum 3 years OR experience; first-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year experience- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; blackout dates apply during peak periodsRequirements:- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)- BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required- Previous travel nursing experience required- Epic charting system experience required- Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I preferred- Must possess both circulating and scrubbing experience – this is a hard requirement- Demonstrated competency in multiple surgical specialties including robotics (DaVinci Xi system), orthopedics, spine/neuro, and general surgery procedures- Availability to work holiday coverage as required (if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, must work 2)Why It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to work in a technologically advanced surgical environment with exposure to diverse, high-acuity cases across multiple specialties.
