Job Summary

Sidney Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join their Surgical Services team in Sidney, Montana. This role is integral to providing high-quality perioperative care within a collaborative "I CARE" team environment, focusing on patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive direct patient care throughout the surgical perioperative phases, including pre-operative, intra-operative (OR), and post-anesthesia care (PACU). This position involves caring for both pediatric and adult patient populations, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient safety during surgical procedures and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform OR circulating duties for a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care across the perioperative continuum, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthesia care.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
  • Provide after-hours post-anesthesia care in the PACU for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for PACU coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide care for both pediatric and adult patient populations.
