Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,326 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care OR RN hospital experience License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience BLS & ACLS certifications Description: This position involves providing nursing care in the operating room setting. The unit features a 28-bed capacity with a variety of surgical specialties. Staffing consists of charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and sitters on day and night shifts. Patient ratios are 1:1 during night shifts. The unit utilizes advanced equipment, including TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci robotics. Experience with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and vascular procedures is highly preferred. The typical procedures performed include orthopedics, GYN, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, spine, neuro, and trauma surgeries. Effective communication with staff and providers is essential for success in this role. On-call requirements include one weeknight per week and one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time.
