Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,331 per week in Littleton, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care OR RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The schedule is from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, five days a week. The role requires the nurse to float to all surgery centers on an as-needed basis. The unit has 40 beds and a diverse team comprised of several roles including PACU RNs, OR RNs, surgical techs, and others. The typical patient ratio is 1:1 in the operating room and 2:1 in PACU. Candidates are preferred to have experience circulating a variety of service lines in a fast-paced environment, as well as pediatrics experience. This center performs a wide variety of procedures including orthopedic sports medicine, general surgeries, ENT, pediatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and plastic surgeries. The work environment is fast-paced with generally lower acuity patients, providing a variety of interesting cases. The team is stable, with many members having long tenure, and they are looking for additional help to fill an open position.
