Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,340 per week in Midland, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT experience Pediatric experience preferred Flexible schedule required Description: Urgent need for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Candidates must have experience in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT surgical procedures. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. The schedule will vary each week, and no set days are guaranteed. Block scheduling cannot be approved. Variable shifts are expected with rotating days off and on-call responsibilities. The average call requirement is 3 to 6 days in a 28-day cycle. Weekend coverage will average every 4th or 5th weekend. The daily census is approximately 35 to 40 patients with 13 surgical beds available. Candidates will work with a diverse patient age group, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. An onsite drug screen will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
