Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,346 per week in Aiken, SC

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the OR with various specialties License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS Required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program BSN highly desired Description: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional. Ensures that supplies and implants are available. Call requirements currently are 5 shifts from Monday to Friday in a 6-week period. Weekend day shifts will be required, comprising 3 shifts on Saturday or Sunday within a 6-week period.
