Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required RN licensure Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Professional demeanor - Required licensure to work as an RN - Experience in surgery or operating room setting Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Surgery. The role requires overseeing patient care in the operating room. You will be involved in assisting with surgical procedures and post-operative care. An essential part of the job is to ensure patient safety and comfort. You will work with a diverse patient population, serving all ages. Communication and collaboration with the surgical team are critical for success. You will participate in on-call duties, as needed, based on staffing needs. A willingness to float to pre-operative areas may be required. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The dress code includes hospital-provided scrubs, and casual wear or open-toed shoes are not permitted. This position is a replacement for existing clinical staff. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must meet all necessary qualifications and certifications to be considered for this position.
