Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,349 per week in Glens Falls, NY

# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – New York**Start Date:** October 15, 2026 **Location:** New York **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** No weekends; 1 call shift per month if needed; primarily day shift with coverage across 14 operating rooms plus Labor & Delivery for C-sections; averaging 50 procedures per day**Highlights:**- Epic EMR system experience required for this assignment- Surgical specialties include vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT (all specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology)- Patient population ranges from pediatric through adult- Primarily circulating position; scrub experience is a valuable additional skill- 8-hour non-billable orientation provided- Call compensation at $4/hour with 1.25x multiplier for holiday, call-back, and overtime**Requirements:**- Current New York RN license- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required- Minimum 2 years of current Operating Room experience- Travel nursing experience required- Epic EMR experience required- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications- Float experience across multiple surgical specialties: vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT- Both scrub and circulate experience required- Skills checklist (current within 1 year) and 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs- Reliable personal vehicle required- Compliance with specialized training requirement (Welle, CPI, or PMCS)- 14-panel drug screening required within 24 hours of offer acceptance**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers experienced OR nurses the chance to work in a high-volume surgical environment with diverse case exposure across multiple specialties.
