Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Schedule: 8-week rotating schedule with 2-3 weekend shifts per period; call requirements include 7-8 calls per 8-week schedule with a combination of weekend and weekday coverage; call shifts run either 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• Main OR setting supporting 16 operating rooms with an average daily census of 35 procedures
• Diverse surgical case mix including General, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, Robotic (2 DaVinci XI Robots), Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required - dual role capability is essential
• Epic electronic medical record system with Pyxis medication management
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available per contract period (blackout dates apply during Spring Break: April 4-12)
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of OR experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience with both scrub and circulator competencies
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
