Schedule: Full-time position with rotating shifts. Schedule includes 2-3 weekends per 8-week period (either in-house or on-call). Call requirements include 7-8 call shifts per 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call, 1-2 weekend shifts, and 2-3 weekday night call shifts. Call shifts are either 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Holiday coverage required per facility policy.

• Main OR environment with 16 operating rooms and average daily census of 35 cases
• Diverse case mix including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
• Advanced technology including Epic charting system, Pyxis medication management, and 2 Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems
• High-volume specialty areas: total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders), robotic-assisted procedures, and complex spine/neuro cases
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (HARD STOP requirement)
• Assignment length varies; orientation hours provided based on contract duration
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4-12)
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience; minimum 1 year experience accepted, first-time travelers considered
• Previous travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Demonstrated competency in both circulating and scrubbing roles across multiple specialties
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly Da Vinci Xi system, strongly preferred
• Proficiency in orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements and complex spine cases
• Knowledge of specialized equipment including Mako robotic system, navigation systems, Jackson tables, and various surgical platforms
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Full compliance documentation due by Tuesday prior to start date; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
