Schedule: 8-week assignment schedule with average 2-3 weekend shifts per contract period; 7-8 call shifts per 8-week schedule including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts; weekday night call requirements apply
Highlights:
- Main OR supporting 16 operating rooms with diverse surgical specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
- Average daily census of 35 cases with advanced technology including Epic EMR, Pyxis, and 2 DaVinci XI Robots
- High-volume surgical environment featuring total joint replacements, robotic-assisted procedures, spine/neuro cases, and advanced urologic interventions
- State-of-the-art equipment including Mako Ortho robot, DaVinci XI robots, Stealth Navigation System, and specialized orthopedic and neurosurgical tools
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4-12)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state licensure required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of perioperative nursing experience with previous travel experience required
- Previous charge experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
- HARD STOP: Both circulating and scrubbing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Proficiency with robotic surgery platforms including DaVinci Xi Surgical System
- Demonstrated competency in high-volume total joints, spine/neuro procedures, and minimally invasive surgical techniques
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Full compliance documentation required to start on time

- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
- Floating may occur within facility and scope of practice as needed (rare)
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length
